The SPEED mast line is our top of the range standard diameter mast. This line has been engineered and developed with the collaboration of Matteo Iachino, our team rider and responsible for the development of our SDM mast range.

Its 100% carbon content allows for maximum performance and reflex ratio making this mast the perfect choice for windsurfing athletes and for all those windsurfers who are always in quest of the best and latest products on the market. The SPEED line is characterized by an exclusive taper, whose central area has been shaped in order to increase the carbon thickness. We developed this particular device to allow windsurfers to take the mast to its maximum power in total safety. The top section has a thinner profile that makes the mast more comfortable to control and allows for a faster command response.

The SPEED range is powered by the latest Japanese pre-preg carbon technology and the boom area is protected by our exclusive carbon and polymer shield to avoid overstress from the boom clamp. As in our RDM range, also in the SDM SPEED 100% the different fibers are bond together with the resins by means of the AUTOCLAVE CONSISTENCY process, which involves the curing of the carbon under high pressure, literally driving tiny air bubbles out of the mast. Last but not least, the joint area of the bottom section has been treated with the AERO SANDING JOINT technology to avoid the sections to get stuck one into the other.
